CITY PARTNERS WITH STREETWORKERS TO CREATE UNIQUE SUMMER PROGRAM FOR YOUTH

Mayor's Council on Substance Abuse Prevention and The Institute for the Study and Practice of Non-Violence to teach youth important skills

Providence -   The Institute for the Study and Practice of Non-Violence and Mayor David N. Cicilline’s Council on Substance Abuse and Prevention have joined to create a unique summer program for Providence youth.  The seven-week program teaches teens aged 15-19 principles of non-violence and substance abuse prevention, while providing important job skills through summer employment.
