SERVICES
every day Our services and programs help families and individuals in our community and beyond
Nonviolence Education
Every year our team provides hundreds of hours of training to schools, companies, nonprofit organizations, law enforcement agencies, and professional and social groups.

Participants learn the principles and steps of nonviolence, and how to implement them, physically and emotionally, into their daily lives through:
-
Nonviolence Workshops
-
Speaking Engagements
-
SEED Program
-
Three Cities Nonviolence Program
Intervention Services
Outreach Specialists are immersed in the community, helping young people make nonviolence choices, as well as mediating potentially violent conflicts.

Victim Advocates provide support and resources for community members that are directly impacted by violence. We are there in the immedicate aftermath of a violent incident, follow through with appropriate ongoing services, and maintain long-term emotional support through our wellness program.
Re-Entry Services
The NVI Re-Entry Discharge Planner is a crucial resource for individuals throughout the transition process.
Working directly with the Department of Corrections, we make a plan prior to an individual's release.
In conjunction with our partners in the Rhode Island Re-Entry Collaborative (RRC), we are there after release to help with wrap-around services and personal support to help ensure success.
