Leonard C. Jefferson spent thirty-eight years behind bars for two crimes he says he didn't commit. PBS Rhode Island featured Jefferson's story and his artistic practice, which he explains helped him get through his time in prison with his humanity intact, and soon his artist exhibit will be featured in the Nonviolence Institute's Chapel gallery from March 4th until June 1st.
