Updated: Mar 1

FREE and open to the public!
Rotating between Providence Community Libraries throughout 2022 - see dates below.
>>Please RSVP and bring a friend :)

Join Juan and Sal, Senior Nonviolence Facilitators, for a friendly and inclusive workshop on what it means to live a nonviolent life, not just in a physical sense, but also in the way we talk and interact with family, friends, and strangers, as well as how we talk to ourselves.
Participants will learn about the Beloved Community, reflective of the actions and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., which is the basis of the work at the Nonviolence Institute. The idea is that everyone is treated with respect and love and the goal is justice and true peace.
Funding for this program is being provided by the City of Providence ARPA Anti-Violence Investment.
