About the event
On Saturday, August 3rd, 2024, the second annual Nonviolence Institute Resource Fair will showcase a range of programs that contribute to the well-being of the public including but not limited to-mental health, financial literacy, job training, food security, and healthcare. The Fair's goal is to provide access to knowledge about wrap-around services in an engaging, nonthreatening-fun-environment where everyone feels valued.
The event is family friendly. Food trucks, games, prizes etc. will underpin a full itinerary of programming aimed at making access to valuable resources easier. By combining Block-Party-type activities, we hope you will feel a keen sense of community as you walk down the street and participate in the various resources and activities we have planned. This event will be free and open to the public from 1PM-5PM.
Our deep connection to the South Providence community and to our larger Rhode Island community will add to the success of this initiative. We hope you will consider attending!
