Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) is a non-profit health care organization and the only Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Providence, Rhode Island. PCHC provides quality primary health care services that are affordable, comprehensive and culturally sensitive to more than 80,000 residents of Providence and its surrounding areas. Our services include: Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Behavioral Health, Optometry, Dental Care and Express Care (urgent care) alongside with selected specialty services. A Healthier Democracy: Link Health A Healthier Democracy builds platforms for collaboration and community organizing at the intersection of health and civic engagement to maximize collective impact on pressing challenges. At Neighborhood Health Plan Of RI, we aim to help you live a healthy life by providing useful resources, supportive programs and helpful tools related to your health. Members can also receive rewards for making healthy choices such as getting an annual check-up. (Health Insurance provider)
City of Providence Healthy Communities Office
The Providence Healthy Communities Office (HCO) is the City’s lead agency for health policy, health promotion and substance use disorder prevention. The HCO works to ensure that Providence residents have equitable access to the resources they need to lead healthy lives.
Oak St. Health Clinica Esperanza
Clínica Esperanza provides linguistically-appropriate, culturally-attuned medical care to uninsured adults living in Rhode Island. Since 2010, we have served more than 30,000 patients, 80% of whom are Spanish-speaking, through our clinic and health education programs. Free healthcare is provided by a team of multi-lingual volunteers and core staff. We believe healthcare is a human right.
