23rd Annual International Nonviolence Summer Institute

Professional Development continues at the Nonviolence Institute - Trainers Gem Barros and Michelle Novello participated in a Kingian Nonviolence and Conflict Reconciliation Training.

This training is offered through the URI Center for Nonviolence and Peace Studies as part of their International Nonviolence Summer Institute.

The 5-day training program included an introduction to Kingian Nonviolence Conflict Reconciliation accompanied by 16 Modules of in-depth study of the philosophy and methodology of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s approach to personal transformation and social change. The final two days focus on content mastery and facilitating Kingian Nonviolence Training Workshop.
